Volunteer
Our volunteers dedicate thousands of hours every year to helping the children we serve. We could not do the important work we do without them. Our intention is to provide a meaningful, productive experience for volunteers.
The Child Advocacy Center of Greater Rochester is committed to advocating for substantial increases in funding to support the work that we provide to the community, as well as several changes to laws that impede our ability to work effectively on behalf of children.

Get Involved
Front Desk Reception/ Family Waiting Room
(Shifts available M-F 9:00 am - 4:00 pm)
Meet and greet clients, families, professional agency staff, volunteers and visitors to the building.
Assist with waiting room oversight, including maintaining a safe and clean environment for children and families.
Answer incoming telephone calls; answer general agency questions; triage calls to appropriate personnel.
Provide general clerical tasks and office support as necessary to staff and team members.
Must be reliable, dependable and comfortable working with children.

Hear from our volunteers
Volunteer Application
All volunteers will be required to fill out a Volunteer Application. Volunteers who will have direct contact with children and families will be required to fill out a background check form prior to any volunteer activities. To get started email volunteer@cacgroc.org or call (585) 754-9392.
